WHO ARE WE?
The Taber & District Soccer Association is housed in the most southern part of Alberta, Canada in what is known to the rest of the province as “Corn Country”. We have been in existence for the past twenty years or so and have grown from a handful of “put together” interested persons to a large, effective and efficient volunteer body who oversees in excess of 900 players, coaches and officials in Taber and its Municipal District. We are proud of our growth and ability to sustain a viable, affordable, encompassing program for all those who wish to participate.
Our primary focus has been, and will continue to be, to promote mass participation by providing “House League” (tier 4) soccer programs from April to June for all those interested regardless of ability or economic background. This program promotes and fosters sportsmanship, commitment, respect, cooperation, skill development and a healthy lifestyle.
In addition, we also provide a more advanced level of instruction/competition for those more serious, talented and committed participants – a tier 3 program. These teams are comprised of “all star” players within our association and are involved at a competitive level throughout the province from May to August.
